The Cook is a part-time, remote role responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting meals for virtual or hybrid events, team gatherings, and special projects.
The role includes menu design, ingredient sourcing, meal preparation, food safety, dietary adaptation, recipe documentation, and schedule management.
Responsibilities
- Design simple event menus and coordinate ingredient sourcing.
- Prepare dishes in a home or remote kitchen.
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently met.
- Coordinate with organizers regarding event themes and dietary needs.
- Adapt recipes for vegetarian, vegan, allergy-friendly, and other dietary requirements.
- Document recipes and share cooking tips for internal content.
- Manage time to meet event schedules with reliable, high-quality output.
