Cook 2 I The View

Summary of Responsibilities:

This role will assist The View Culinary Team to operate efficiently and effectively by assisting with all food preparation, cooking, cleaning kitchen workspaces, and washing dishes.

This position reports to the Culinary Leadership of The View.

• Prepare high quality meals according to The View’s recipes.
• Ensure excellence of food inventory management.
• Assist in all food preparation for various stations.
• Follow all food health and safety requirements.
• Facilitate all cleaning and sanitization of dishes, cookware, and utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness of all aspects of the kitchen.
• Assist with deliveries and proper storage of items.
• Communicate kitchen needs to supervisors.
• Work assigned station based on operational needs.
• Demonstrate a high level of efficiency in one station.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Existing knowledge of food safety procedures is preferred.

• Preferred Experience: 1 years as a line cook in a relative upscale environment Associates or Certificate in Culinary Arts
