NatWest Group is hiring a Controls Testing Manager at vice president level.
The role supports regular key control testing, targeted control reviews, issue escalation, and operational risk remediation.
Normal working days for this India-based role must be carried out in India.
Responsibilities
- Lead testing of key controls and files and complete targeted control reviews for a franchise or function.
- Escalate review findings and drive agreed action plans with business areas and controls teams.
- Complete first-line-of-defence tests and reviews using agreed procedures and methodologies.
- Lead, manage, coach, and develop the controls testing team.
- Identify weaknesses in credit, operational, and regulatory processes and controls.
- Maintain audit trails and records supporting review conclusions.
- Minimize the impact of testing activity on business teams.
- Drive automation, AI adoption, and continuous improvement in testing frameworks.
Required experience and qualifications
- Experience in banking or wealth management and knowledge of financial products.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory rules, operational risk, credit risk, and market risk principles.
