Lincoln Electric provides industrial machinery and technology for welding, cutting, brazing, machining, process automation, and field repair.
The role is based in Pune and involves project engineering, automation programming, installation, troubleshooting, and client support.
The position includes approximately 70% site travel.
Job Responsibilities
- Meet client electrical and mechanical requirements through design, EPLAN drafting, project engineering, and site installation.
- Read logical flow diagrams and explain electrical component operation to clients.
- Write and maintain PLC, servo VFD, SCADA, and HMI programs.
- Prepare user instructions, safety instrument documentation, SOPs, BOMs, control philosophies, I/O lists, and ISO-standard documentation.
- Troubleshoot system faults and supervise PLC program installation.
- Guide and train technicians, EPLAN engineers, and other team members.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, mechanical, and purchasing teams.
Job Requirements
- 7–8 years of experience as a PLC Programmer or in a similar engineering role.
- Sound knowledge of electrical, project engineering, and software principles.
