Proactively identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to support and improve efficiency of the manufacturing facilities
Work with plant operational teams to facilitate continuous improvement efforts related to electrical and instrumentation performance
Participate in project teams and all activities related to engineering technical support
PLC programming, HMI programming, Vision System programming, and VFD configuration (Rockwell, Siemens, Cognex, Keyence, SEW, Lenze)
Design and implementation of electrical systems
Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs and applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
Confirms systems and components’ capabilities by designing testing methods.
Develops electrical products by studying customer requirements and researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Reviewing electrical engineering plans, specifications, and reports
Conducting tests and inspections of electrical systems and equipment
Collaborating with engineers and technicians
Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures and requesting repair service.
Maintains product database by writing computer programs and entering data.

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical experience with a minimum of five (5) years preferred.

Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and systems involving Urethane reaction injection molding, Rotational dry cast cells, Vacuum forming, Paint cells, Laser scoring, water jets, sonic and vibration welding and others
Experience Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Siemens and Omron PLC/HMI systems
Industrial protocols such as Ethernet, Profibus, RS-232, Devicenet, DH+
