Controls Engineer

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR Associate Degree with 2+ years of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and/or HVAC controls experience
• Or
• High School Diploma with 4+ years of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and/or HVAC controls experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering or Construction discipline.
• Experience in HVAC controls, Building Automation, or related industry.
• Working knowledge of primary functions of building automation system software and associated engineering tools, Automated Logic suites preferred.
• Working knowledge of Automated Logic software, hardware, peripherals, add-ons, and services.
• Experience with third-party communication protocols used in building automation, such as BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, LON, N2, etc.
• Experience with Enterprise IP networks and Microsoft Visio, or similar software.
• Ability to understand written sequences of operations, diagrammatic depictions of systems.
• Experience with Microsoft suite, including Excel, Teams, OneNote, etc.
• Able to translate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade, and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs.

Pay Range

• The annual salary for this position is $80,750–$113,250. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
