Role Overview
AWS Infrastructure Services designs, delivers, and operates global data center infrastructure.
The APAC Controls Deployment and Service team delivers and services control systems that support data center health.
The role covers deployments, capital improvement projects, servicing, systems engineering, and controls fleet support.
Controls Engineer Duties
- Deploy data center building automation systems, including BMS and EPMS.
- Deliver projects that upgrade automation systems at new, existing, leased, or colocated data centers.
- Provide local service expertise and occasional global support for the controls fleet.
- Diagnose and resolve operational events and complete tasks within defined SLAs.
- Manage vendors and coordinate delivery to minimize defects at Power and Facilities Hand-Off.
- Partner with construction, commissioning, operations, procurement, program management, design, engineering, and vendor teams.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and deployment or mass production.
