What You’ll Be Part Of

This position oversees all financials of operations in Juarez and El Paso, (including manufacturing sites, vertical integration and distribution center in El Paso), ensuring accurate reporting, financial health, performance management and strategic financial guidance. In this role, the Plant Operations Finance Leader acts as business partner to local Plant Leader and department managers; and reports to Regional Finance Operations Leader. Job requires close interaction with Global Operations and Mfg. Leaders, and global Finance teams (Finance Capability Center / FCC, Operations Finance, SBU Finance, Strategic Planning & Performance / SP&P, Commercial Finance)u

What Makes You A Strong Fit

· Lead and develop plant budgeting, forecasting processes, aligning financial plans of the plant with the overall business and operations strategy.

· Develop, prepare financial reports for internal management reporting and operations reviews for the plant, analyze (monthly, quarter and yearly) results and recommend, drive corrective actions as necessary.

· Provide financial leadership and insights for key business decisions for the plant (Capital Expenditures, Expenses, cost control, working capital management, quotation process), helping business departments to make informed decisions and manage financial risks.

· Provide transparency for finance / controlling activities and ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and regulatory requirements.

· Serve as a trusted business partner to the Plant leader. Monitor and communicate progress towards plant related goals and objectives (KPI’s, short, mid and long-term), identifying trends and areas of improvement.

· Optimize existing reporting processes and tools in line with best practices and implement improvements as appropriate.

· Work and collaborate closely with regional and global finance teams (Operations, Finance, Strategic Business Units) and global teams on short-term and long-term objectives and projects, covering operations items.

· Support Make vs. Buy, Vertical Integration and Business Case calculation

· Lead plant finance team to support plant business growth and continuous efficiency improvement and focus on development and retention of key staff.

· Ad-hoc analysis, projects, activities.

· Support Maquiladora Compliance activities as needed.

What You Need to Be Successful

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. Master’s in business administration or finance preferred.

· Experience: 5+ years of finance or controlling experience in a serial production manufacturing environment including experience in standard costing, cost accounting and reporting & analysis.

· Strong analytic skills combined with good interpersonal skills.

· Ensure adherence to ethics standards, GAAP compliance and Harman policies. Being able to comply with these standards despite pressure.

· Experienced with S4Hana transactions and MS Excel.

· Excellent written and verbal communications in English and Spanish language.
