Role overview
Amentum is seeking an experienced Control Supervisor Engineer for water and wastewater projects.
The role leads safe delivery of control, instrumentation, and automation systems through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
The position coordinates contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams while ensuring design, quality, safety, and programme compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of PLC, SCADA, telemetry, and instrumentation systems.
- Ensure works comply with approved designs, specifications, control philosophies, and industry standards.
- Coordinate subcontractors, system integrators, and site teams.
- Support FAT, SAT, loop checks, functional testing, and system integration testing.
- Monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and manage multidisciplinary interfaces.
- Maintain commissioning records, test documentation, as-built drawings, and handover packs.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and operational teams to support project delivery.
Essential requirements
- Qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Control, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
