Control Room Operator (1444)

Purpose

The Control Room Operator’s purpose is to safely operate the process unit from control room DCS, in an efficient manner and do all operation activities as per SOP

Nature & Scope

The Control Room Operator is accountable for monitoring plant operations through DCS, fixing and trouble-shooting operations, tracking and logging operational systems, monitoring emissions and making recommendations.

Safety

Provide & maintain a safe work environment. Demonstrate leadership with all company & industry safe work processes to prevent all injuries. Ensure proper documentation is maintained for safety related activities.

Operations

Gasification Blocks 1&2 – Operation

Control, operate and maintain Gasification process units to generate all related final on specification products that ensure capacity and availability of the client's requirements (as per IGCC Agreement) through system monitoring and efficient operation of the gasification facilities, applying knowledge, policies and procedures.

SARU - Operation

Control, operate and maintain Soot ash recovery process units to generate all related final products that ensure capacity and availability of the client's requirements (as per IGCC Agreement) through system monitoring and efficient operation of the gasification facilities, applying knowledge, policies and procedures.
