Role overview
Represent BH technically and professionally while ensuring customer equipment is installed, maintained and started up properly.
Work on customer-owned remote oilfield, power generation and industrial facilities, including offshore locations.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site direction for control system installation, loop checks, system testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Supervise positioning and wiring of control panels, including electrical, pneumatic, primary and field wiring.
- Check control sequencing for turbine and driven-equipment auxiliary systems.
- Lead installation, maintenance and commissioning activities against schedule, quality and HSE targets.
- Conduct daily HSE toolbox talks and identify critical activities and safety considerations.
- Troubleshoot turbomachinery commissioning and start-up activities using instructions, drawings and process documentation.
- Prepare job-planning documents for installation, upgrades and outages.
- Provide technical leadership to skilled labor at customer sites.
- Prepare outage, installation and customer technical reports.
- Communicate with service, installation, project and site managers about execution and personnel movements.
- Participate in customer and contractor meetings.
