Requirements
- Degree relevant to the construction industry
- Working towards chartered membership of a professional institution (MICE, RICS, etc.)
- 5 to 7 years plus experience within the construction industry
- Must have held a responsible position within organisations and in the front line delivery of construction projects
- Developing particular expertise within the construction field (Cost Specialist, Contract Specialist, etc.)
- Excellent writing skills and ability to author detailed technical documents
- Experience with development of construction claims
- Fully conversant with general heads of claim and methodologies for calculation of recoverable costs
- Good presentation skills and ability to present to clients
- Familiar with delay analysis methodologies
- Strong time management and ability to deliver work packages within strict timeframes
- Strong team player and ability to lead delivery of particular components

Experience

IT Skills
- Generate high quality documentation making full use of the technical and functional capabilities of software such as Word and Excel and be able to deliver documents formatted for presentation.
Planning Skills
- Be familiar with the use of recommended delay analysis methodologies and be aware of their respective strengths and weaknesses.
Time Management
- Manage time to full effect and deliver work packages within strict timeframes.
