Role Overview
Provide strategic legal leadership as General Counsel for one of the employer's clients.
Oversee all legal matters for the organization on a contract basis.

Job Type and Payout
- The position is described as contract.
- The stated payout is $100-$200 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise executive leadership and board members on governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial, vendor, partnership, and licensing agreements.
- Manage legal risks related to operations, products, and global expansion.
- Oversee intellectual property, data privacy, and employment law matters.
- Ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions while supporting growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school is required.
- Active bar membership in at least one state is required.
- At least 10 years of corporate law experience is required.
- Experience in technology, internet, or digital platform industries is required.
- Strong expertise in commercial contracts, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance is required.
- Experience advising startups or high-growth companies on venture financing, M&A, and strategic partnerships is required.
- Familiarity with data privacy laws and intellectual property protection strategies is required.
