Contract-based role providing strategic legal leadership and overseeing all legal matters for a client organization.
The position serves as General Counsel and supports corporate growth, operations, products, and global expansion.
Workplace and engagement

Payout
- Compensation is listed at $100-$200 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Advise executive leadership and board members on governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate vendor, partnership, licensing, and other complex commercial contracts.
- Manage legal risks related to operations, products, and global expansion.
- Oversee intellectual property, data privacy, employment law, and other corporate legal functions.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions while supporting company growth.
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one state.
- At least 10 years of corporate law experience focused on technology, internet, or digital platform industries.
- Expertise in commercial contract negotiation, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience advising startups or high-growth companies on venture financing, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
- Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, data privacy laws, and intellectual property protection strategies.
