(CONTRACT) Wind tunnel model Designer - Experimental Department

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in wind tunnel model design, including direct participation in Stability & Control, Takeoff and Landing Performance (High-Lift), and High-Speed wind tunnel test campaigns.

Eligibility to obtain access under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP).

Strong proficiency with CATIA V5 and/or Siemens NX for complex mechanical design, 3D modeling, and technical documentation.

Solid knowledge of aerodynamic principles as applied to wind tunnel testing.

Excellent understanding of wind tunnel instrumentation, including internal aerodynamic balances, pressure sensors, strain gauges, data acquisition systems, and specialized instrumentation used during wind tunnel test campaigns.

Strong knowledge of structures, materials, and standard components used in the aerospace and industrial sectors; experience designing machined parts, welded assemblies, and sheet metal components, as well as knowledge of instrumentation systems.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
