noon is building aqd, an AI-native contract operating system combining AI agents, contract lifecycle management, and expert legal oversight.
The Contract Operation Engineer will build AI-driven legal-operations software and own vertical slices of the aqd platform.
The role is described as full-time and remote-first.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain end-to-end features using Next.js, Drizzle ORM, and PostgreSQL with row-level security for multi-tenant environments.
- Architect durable, long-running Temporal workflows that survive restarts and deployments without losing contract-process state.
- Integrate and evaluate LLM agents using Claude and LiteLLM with fixture-driven evaluations that gate production releases.
- Create traceable, audit-ready systems where security, durability, and human accountability are core product principles.
Ideal Candidate
- Has at least 3 years of experience shipping production-grade TypeScript with Node.js and React.
- Has deep expertise in PostgreSQL database design and management.
- Has hands-on experience with durable workflow engines such as Temporal or Inngest.
- Has deployed production LLM-backed features with systematic evaluations.
- Demonstrates proficiency with infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Thrives in an AI-augmented development workflow using parallel agent worktrees.
Work Environment
- The role is described as highly autonomous and remote-first.
- Engineering practices include strict architecture, architecture decision records, and fixture-driven evaluations.
