Our client, a major international construction group, seeks a Contract Manager to join its regional Contract Management and Legal function in the UAE. The role involves providing contractual and commercial support across major infrastructure projects, managing claims, risk, and contract administration.

Responsibilities
- Provide contract management support across major civil infrastructure projects
- Advise project teams on contractual obligations, entitlement, risk, and compliance
- Support administration and management of main contracts and subcontract agreements
- Prepare and manage contractual correspondence, notices, and submissions
- Assist with preparation, assessment, and negotiation of Variation Orders and contractual changes
- Support preparation and management of Extension of Time (EOT) claims and associated contractual entitlement
- Assist in preparation and management of contractual claims and dispute related matters
- Participate in contract drafting, negotiation, and contractual risk reviews
- Support dispute avoidance strategies and assist with dispute board and arbitration preparation
- Work closely with commercial, engineering, planning, and legal teams to ensure contractual compliance
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- Approximately 7–15 years' experience in contract management, quantity surveying, commercial management, or construction contracts
- Experience on major civil infrastructure projects (highways, bridges, tunnels, rail, water, or complex building projects)
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, contract administration, and commercial risk management
- Experience supporting claims, Extension of Time submissions, Variation Orders, and contractual negotiations
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- FIDIC contract experience (highly desirable)
- Previous Middle East experience (advantageous)

- The business seeks a Contract Manager to join its regional Contract Management and Legal function based in the UAE.
- This role offers an opportunity for an ambitious contract management professional to develop within a dedicated function supporting major international infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide contract management support across major civil infrastructure projects.
- Advise project teams on contractual obligations, entitlement, risk, and compliance.

Profile Required
