• University degree in a related discipline, or an advanced / specialist technical certification, requiring an equivalent number of years of post-secondary education. Demonstrated experience in railway corridor rehabilitation, maintenance, and contract management.

• Knowledge of Railway Association of Canada (RAC) track and /or signal maintenance standards, practices, and guidelines and applicable legislation and railway operating rules affecting railway, environmental, public, and employee safety Experience with contract development to monitor contractor compliance and performance against contract terms and conditions, and regulatory standards MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and other software applications to create reports and administer contract terms and conditions Interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation, and oral/written communications skills to monitor contractor compliance and performance against contract agreement terms and conditions
