Overview

We’re Hiring \| Assistant Manager – Contracts & Administration

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager – Contracts & Administration within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and administer contracts with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and consultants
  • Standardize contract templates in line with legal, commercial, financial, and internal policies
  • Monitor contract performance, claims, renewals, deadlines, and dispute resolution processes
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, procurement, and project teams on contractual matters
  • Support tendering, bidding, prequalification submissions, and commercial documentation
  • Maintain contract records, BOQ verification, project progress tracking, licenses, permits, warranties, and compliance files
  • Prepare contractual correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, and official communications
  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, and government authorities as required
  • Follow up on invoices, approvals, payments, and project deliverables, including site verifications before payment processing
  • Ensure proper digital documentation and indexing of all records
  • Submit regular project status reports highlighting challenges, delays, and proposed solutions
  • Handle office administration activities including manpower documentation (EID, visa renewals, etc.), document control, and general administrative coordination across divisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Legal qualification is an added advantage)
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in contracts management and administration within the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, subcontract agreements, claims, and project documentation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
