Education Post-secondary education in Business Administration/Supply Chain Management/Engineering/Contract Administration. A designation or enrolment in a Certified Supply Chain Program (E.g., National Institute of Supply Chain Leaders (NISCL)-Certified Supply Chain Leader (CSCL), etc.) is an asset.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge and understanding of contract law, procurement practices and processes/processes and tasks, with an emphasis on complex procurements requiring the participation of technical experts (technical experts, legal, quality assurance). Demonstrated understanding of contract terminology and contract interpretation, contract strategies, pricing models and contract risks. Formal training and/or demonstrated experience in relationship management, conflict resolution and negotiation. Ability to work in a team environment both within Supply Chain and with internal clients. Ability to work independently, establish priorities to meet conflicting deadlines, and resolve conflicts promptly. Strong advanced computer skills in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint). Outstanding organizational skills and oral and written communication capabilities. Strong sense of accountability, work ethic and analytical skills required. Demonstrated ability to lead others through influence rather than authority. Ability to maintain clear, concise documentation on all stages of the procurement. Technical background/knowledge, or a demonstrated understanding of design/construction contracts, would be an asset. Knowledge and experience with a variety of Quality Assurance programs. Knowledge of nuclear quality assurance programs would be an asset. Demonstrated understanding of contract terminology and contract interpretation, contract strategies, pricing models (e.g., Fixed Price, Unit, Time and Material (T&M), Target Cost, etc.) and various contract risks and liabilities. Knowledge and experience with a variety of Quality Assurance programs. Understanding of Financial (cost) management and accounting practices. Knowledge of Nuclear Quality Assurance programs is considered an asset.

Security Clearance Eligibility Required Reliability Status which has a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's “Standard on Security Screening” and the “Policy on Government Security.”

Working schedule: Five (5) days per week, seven and a half (7.5) hours per day for a thirty-seven and a half (37.5) hour work week.

Participating in walk-downs/navigating throughout the Work Site.

Working for long hours in a non-standard office environment that may exert physical and mental pressures.

The environment demands high vigilance to alarms, lights, and signals as a safety requirement.

Conflicting deadlines and unplanned demands, which may require work beyond the normal working hours.

Potential access to hazardous environments, requiring the incumbent to wear Personal Protective Equipment and Clothing (PPE&C) to mitigate any potential physical/health hazards.

Potential hazards include, but are not limited to: dirt, dust, smoke, heat, and other potential industrial hazards
