Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue contractual letters, notices, and notifications within required deadlines.
  • Prepare, submit, and follow up claims, extensions of time, variations, and delay claims.
  • Review and respond to client and consultant contractual correspondence.
  • Review and assess claims from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Monitor contractual obligations, deadlines, risks, and potential claims.
  • Maintain contract, claims, variation, notice, and dispute registers.
  • Coordinate with project management, planning, QS/commercial, engineering, procurement, and finance departments.
  • Maintain documentation and evidence supporting claims and contractual positions.
  • Prepare legal notices and support external legal counsel when required.
  • Assist with dispute avoidance, negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and other dispute resolution processes.
  • Prepare final claims, final account documentation, and contractual close-out materials.
  • Prepare periodic contractual and claims status reports for management.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • At least 7 years of experience in construction contract administration.
  • Experience in Ashghal and Kahramaa construction projects is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of FIDIC and construction contracts.
  • Strong experience with claims, extensions of time, variations, contractual notices, and dispute management.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, documentation, and commercial skills.
  • Knowledge of Qatar/GCC construction contracts is advantageous.

Pay

  • Pay starts at QAR 6,500 per month.

Work Location

  • The role is performed in person.
