Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue contractual letters, notices, and notifications within required deadlines.
- Prepare, submit, and follow up claims, extensions of time, variations, and delay claims.
- Review and respond to client and consultant contractual correspondence.
- Review and assess claims from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor contractual obligations, deadlines, risks, and potential claims.
- Maintain contract, claims, variation, notice, and dispute registers.
- Coordinate with project management, planning, QS/commercial, engineering, procurement, and finance departments.
- Maintain documentation and evidence supporting claims and contractual positions.
- Prepare legal notices and support external legal counsel when required.
- Assist with dispute avoidance, negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and other dispute resolution processes.
- Prepare final claims, final account documentation, and contractual close-out materials.
- Prepare periodic contractual and claims status reports for management.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- At least 7 years of experience in construction contract administration.
- Experience in Ashghal and Kahramaa construction projects is preferred.
- Good knowledge of FIDIC and construction contracts.
- Strong experience with claims, extensions of time, variations, contractual notices, and dispute management.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, documentation, and commercial skills.
- Knowledge of Qatar/GCC construction contracts is advantageous.
Pay
- Pay starts at QAR 6,500 per month.
Work Location
- The role is performed in person.
