- Deliver every project on time within budget and scope
- Set boundaries of the project with the help of the project sponsor
- Implement the structure of project management including decision making body
- Develop project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Implement ambitious improvement projects using methods such as Lean Sigma
- Supervise projects led by Green Belts and develop their skills
- Coordinate internal and external resources for flawless execution of projects
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed

Job Description
- Project management responsibilities include delivering every project on time within budget and scope.
- Project leaders should have a technical background as well as be skilled in business management, budgeting and analysis.
- Must have solid background in continuous improvement methodologies and practice – monitoring and improving organizational processes to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Excellent research and analysis skills to ensure that workflows are mapped and to remove waste and low value activities – recommending best practice solutions.
- Guided by formal kaizen methodologies, incumbent must take the lead in implementing changes, acting as a leader and mentor throughout different areas of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Setting boundaries of the project with the help of the project sponsor
- Implement the structure of the project management (especially the decision making body – ie Steering Committee)
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Implementing ambitious improvement projects using methods such as Lean Sigma
- Supervise projects led by Green Belts (or BB if MBB) and develop their skills
- Coordinate internal and external resources for the flawless execution of projects
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
