Position Summary
The Social Media & Event Activator creates memorable guest experiences across social media channels, the hotel, and the bar.
The role builds hotel and brand awareness, grows reach, drives engagement, and supports guest events through creative content, conversations, partnerships, and execution.
Core Responsibilities
- Use knowledge of the local market and influencers to connect with guests on social channels.
- Create hotel and brand awareness, grow reach, and drive engagement.
- Serve as a point of contact for guests hosting events in the hotel.
- Execute events smoothly and remove friction from event planning and delivery.
- Use creative content, online conversations, relevant partnerships, and events to engage guests.
- Follow company policies, quality standards, safety procedures, and professional appearance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- One year of related work experience is preferred.
- Experience with copywriting, journalism, photo editing, or copyediting is preferred.
- Knowledge of and passion for the lifestyle and travel space is a plus.
- Strong understanding of strategy pull-through, online marketing initiatives, emerging technologies, and social media best practices is required.
