Are you an experienced video production professional who enjoys sharing your industry knowledge and helping the next generation of creatives develop their skills?

We’re looking for someone to bring their professional expertise into the workshop, supporting the delivery of the T Level Media, Broadcast and Production – Content Creation pathway.

You’ll help students build their understanding of professional video production techniques, working with industry-standard software including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, Adobe After Effects and DaVinci Resolve.

You’ll bring a practical, hands-on approach to your sessions, adapting your support to meet students’ needs and helping them apply their technical skills to their assessments.

Your experience of working with clients will be particularly valuable, giving students an insight into the realities of professional video production and how to respond creatively and effectively to different briefs and requirements.

You’ll be a highly organised and creative educator, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging, innovative lessons that inspire learners.

You’ll have strong interpersonal skills, a positive and empathetic approach, and the confidence to manage a classroom effectively.

Ideally, you’ll have experience teaching or delivering training in the workplace, although this isn’t essential as full training will be provided.

You’ll be able to teach across Level 3 to Level 4 programmes and motivate learners to achieve and succeed in their studies.

Please note that there are two salary scale points for our Lecturer positions.

All candidates will start at the introductory salary scale point unless certain criteria are met.

Lecturers will normally move up to the highest salary scale once one full academic year of teaching for our group is complete. (Lecturers must be in post by 1st September in any given year to qualify and this is subject to approval).

Therefore, internal applicants in the same role may qualify for the higher salary scale, although should seek clarification
