The Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Consumer Insights Manager to lead consumer research, market intelligence, and behavioral analysis initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate will uncover actionable consumer insights, identify emerging market trends, evaluate customer needs, and provide strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute consumer insights strategies aligned with organizational objectives, brand growth, customer experience, and commercial priorities.
  • Design and manage qualitative and quantitative consumer research programs, including surveys, focus groups, interviews, ethnographic studies, online communities, and behavioral analysis.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product management, sales, customer experience, strategy, finance, research, and executive leadership to support product development, brand strategy, campaign planning, and business growth initiatives.
  • Analyze consumer behavior, purchasing patterns, market trends, customer journeys, segmentation models, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and business risks.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including customer satisfaction, Net Promoter Score (NPS), brand awareness, market share, customer retention, campaign effectiveness, consumer engagement, and purchase intent.
  • Develop customer personas, segmentation frameworks, journey maps, and behavioral models that support targeted marketing and product strategies.
  • Translate complex research findings into actionable recommendations through executive presentations, dashboards, reports, and storytelling that influence strategic decision making.
  • Manage relationships with external research agencies, panel providers, data vendors, and analytics partners while ensuring research quality, budget control, and project delivery.
  • Utilize consumer research platforms, CRM systems, survey tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Tableau, SPSS, SQL, and business intelligence solutions to support research and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, ethical research standards, organizational policies, and consumer data governance requirements.
  • Prepare consumer insight reports, executive dashboards, market forecasts, trend analyses, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop consumer insights analysts, market researchers, and cross functional teams while fostering a culture of curiosity, innovation, analytical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Market Research, Psychology, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) or professional certifications in Market Research, Consumer Behavior, Business Analytics, Data Science, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer insights, market research, customer analytics, business intelligence, marketing analytics, or related roles.
  • 2+ years of experience managing research programs, consumer insights teams, or strategic analytics initiatives preferred.
  • Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, consumer behavior, market segmentation, statistical analysis, customer journey mapping, and behavioral analytics.
  • Experience with survey platforms, CRM systems, Power BI, Tableau, SPSS, SQL, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, and business intelligence tools.
  • Familiarity with predictive analytics, AI powered consumer insights, social listening platforms, customer data platforms (CDPs), digital marketing analytics, and visualization tools is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, research, strategic thinking, organizational, project management, and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, storytelling, stakeholder management, and cross functional collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to translate consumer data into actionable business strategies that drive customer satisfaction, innovation, and sustainable growth.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
