Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and document commerce architectures using Java, .NET, and PHP.
• Develop, test, configure, and optimize front-end and back-end commerce components.
• Configure payment, order management, and catalog services.
• Analyze commerce ecosystems and recommend technical improvements.
• Coordinate delivery with product, architecture, quality, and client teams.
• Support testing, defect management, production incidents, and root-cause analysis.
• Prepare technical documentation and modernization recommendations.
• Monitor performance and implement code, caching, and query optimizations.
• Mentor junior staff and support presales assessments, estimates, and risk reviews.

Qualifications

• At least five years of consulting experience converting business requirements into commerce solutions.
• Advanced Java commerce full-stack engineering experience.
• Solid .NET commerce full-stack engineering experience.
• Practical PHP commerce full-stack engineering experience.
• Understanding of database design and query optimization.
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks and responsive design.
• Experience with version control, continuous integration, and automated builds.
• Experience coordinating onsite and remote activities in a hybrid delivery model.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.

Technical Focus

• Commerce platforms and transaction-intensive applications.
• Payment, order management, and catalog services.
• Relational or document data stores.
• Unit, integration, and system testing.
• Application performance optimization and technical documentation.

Preferred Certifications

• Oracle Java Professional certification, Microsoft .NET-related certification, or relevant commerce-platform specialist credentials is preferred.
