Responsibilities
- Assess and manage acute and chronic sports injuries, overuse syndromes and exercise related medical conditions
- Design return to play plans with physiotherapy, strength conditioning and rehabilitation teams
- Perform musculoskeletal ultrasound assessment and guided injections according to scope and privileges
- Provide medical support for athletes, teams, fitness clients and active populations
- Advise on injury prevention, performance optimisation, nutrition coordination and safe training loads
- Maintain outcome tracking, consent, documentation and sports medicine governance standards
Requirements
- Recognized specialist qualification in Sports Medicine (e.g., American Board with Sports Medicine fellowship, UK SEM CCT/FFSEM, European/national specialist recognition, Canadian Royal College, Australian FACSEP, Arab Board, MD/DNB/FCPS)
- Eligibility for UAE licensing and facility credentialing
- Strong clinical judgement and commitment to evidence based practice
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations and teams

About The Role
- A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its sports injury, performance medicine and multidisciplinary rehabilitation and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Sports Medicine Physician to join its growing clinical team.
- The role is designed for internationally trained clinicians seeking career advancement, strong clinical exposure, and the ability to practice within a modern, quality driven healthcare environment serving a diverse international patient population.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage acute and chronic sports injuries, overuse syndromes and exercise related medical conditions
- Design return to play plans with physiotherapy, strength conditioning and rehabilitation teams
- Perform musculoskeletal ultrasound assessment and guided injections according to scope and privileges
- Provide medical support for athletes, teams, fitness clients and active populations
- Advise on injury prevention, performance optimisation, nutrition coordination and safe training loads
- Maintain outcome tracking, consent, documentation and sports medicine governance standards
Requirements
- Applications are welcome from internationally trained consultant sports medicine physician candidates holding recognised qualifications such as: American Board certification with Sports Medicine fellowship, UK SEM CCT / FFSEM, European / national sports medicine specialist recognition, Royal College
