Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage neurological disorders including stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and neuropathies
- Provide acute management of neurological emergencies including stroke and seizure disorders
- Conduct detailed neurological examinations and clinical assessments
- Interpret and utilise neurodiagnostic tests including EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, and neuroimaging
- Develop individualised treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions
- Manage headaches, movement disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and neuromuscular conditions
- Collaborate with neurosurgeons, intensivists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation teams for comprehensive patient care
- Participate in stroke programs and multidisciplinary case discussions
- Provide patient education and counselling regarding neurological conditions and long term care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations
- Participate in clinical audits, research activities, and quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure adherence to international neurology guidelines and patient safety standards
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years post specialist or board certification
- Recognised specialist qualification such as American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology (Neurology), UK CCT/MRCP/FRCP with Neurology training, Royal College Certification (Canada), Australian Fellowship (FRACP – Neurology), Arab Board in Neurology, DM/DNB/FCPS Neurology or equivalent
- Must meet eligibility requirements for DHA/DOH/MOH licensing

Role Overview
