A leading multispecialty tertiary care hospital in Dubai seeks an experienced Consultant/Specialist Nephrologist to join its multidisciplinary team. The role involves delivering advanced kidney care including dialysis and transplant support.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases (CKD, AKI, glomerular disorders)
- Oversee and manage hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis programs
- Provide care for patients undergoing renal transplantation (pre and post transplant management)
- Manage electrolyte imbalances, hypertension, and fluid disorders
- Conduct and interpret renal function tests, kidney biopsies, and imaging
- Provide inpatient and outpatient nephrology consultations
- Collaborate with ICU teams for critical care nephrology cases
- Participate in clinical governance, quality assurance, and infection control programs
- Educate patients and families on long term kidney disease management
- Supervise junior doctors and contribute to academic and training programs
Requirements
- Minimum 3 5+ years post board certification in Nephrology
- Recognized specialist qualification: American Board of Internal Medicine (Nephrology), UK CCT/MRCP + Nephrology Specialty Training, European Board Certification, Royal College Certification (Canada), Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, DM/DNB Nephrology/FCPS or equivalent
- Eligibility for DHA/DOH license conversion

Role Overview
- Position: Consultant / Specialist Nephrologist
- Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
- Hospital Type: Private / Government / Multispecialty / Tertiary Care (JCI accredited)
- Experience Required: Minimum 3–5+ years post board certification
- Clinical Scope: Nephrology, dialysis (hemodialysis & peritoneal dialysis), CKD management, transplant nephrology
