Role Overview

  • A leading healthcare provider in Dubai, UAE is expanding its emergency and acute care services and is seeking a qualified Consultant / Specialist Emergency Medicine Physician.
  • The role focuses on delivering timely, high quality emergency medical care within a modern hospital environment serving a diverse international patient population.
  • Position: Consultant / Specialist Emergency Medicine, Location: Dubai, UAE, Healthcare Setting: Multispecialty hospital emergency department.

Qualifications & Board Recognition

  • American Board of Emergency Medicine
  • UK CCT / FRCEM / MRCEM
  • European Board Certification
  • Royal College Certification (Canada)
  • Australian Fellowship (FACEM)
  • Arab Board
  • MD/DNB/FNB/DrNB/FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for DHA / DOH / MOH license.

Key Responsibilities – Emergency Medicine

  • Provide rapid assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients presenting with acute medical, surgical, and traumatic conditions.
  • Stabilise patients experiencing life threatening emergencies, including cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and trauma related conditions.
  • Perform emergency medical procedures such as airway management, intubation, resuscitation, wound management, fracture stabilisation, and procedural sedation.
  • Lead and participate in advanced life support and resuscitation efforts.
  • Utilise diagnostic tools such as point of care testing, imaging, and laboratory investigations.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and specialist physicians.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records.
  • Ensure adherence to evidence based emergency care protocols and patient safety guidelines.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and emergency preparedness programs.
  • Support efficient patient flow and triage processes.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.
