About the Role

Join an expanding autoimmune, inflammatory joint disease, and connective tissue disorder service within an internationally accredited UAE healthcare provider.

Work in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment with consultants, nurses, allied health professionals, and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.

Serve a diverse international patient population in a quality-driven healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue disease, vasculitis, gout, osteoporosis, and autoimmune disorders.
  • Prescribe and monitor DMARDs, biologics, immunosuppressants, and infusion therapies safely.
  • Perform joint assessments, injections, and musculoskeletal ultrasound where within scope.
  • Manage chronic musculoskeletal pain and inflammatory rheumatic conditions.
  • Coordinate care with nephrology, dermatology, pulmonology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and physiotherapy.
  • Monitor disease progression, treatment response, and medication-related risks.
  • Educate patients on disease control, medication safety, lifestyle modification, and flare management.
  • Maintain documentation and comply with patient safety, infection control, and UAE healthcare standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement.

Requirements

  • Hold a recognized rheumatology specialist qualification, such as American Board, UK CCT/MRCP with rheumatology training, European or national registration, FRACP, Arab Board, DM, DNB, FCPS, or equivalent.
  • Be eligible for UAE licensing and facility credentialing.
  • Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety.
  • Communicate effectively with culturally diverse patients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Adapt to UAE healthcare regulations, documentation standards, and hospital governance expectations.
  • Support patient-centred care and multidisciplinary clinical teamwork.
