About the Role

Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage psychiatric disorders including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and other mental health conditions
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management
- Conduct psychotherapy, counseling, and behavioral interventions where appropriate
- Manage inpatient and outpatient psychiatric cases
- Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, neurologists, primary care physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Provide crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric care when required
- Educate patients and families regarding mental health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive strategies
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with Qatar healthcare regulations and hospital policies
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, research, and continuing medical education programs
- Ensure adherence to patient confidentiality, ethical standards, and mental health best practices
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by Qatar healthcare authorities
- Board Certification / Fellowship in Psychiatry
- Valid QCHP/DHP Consultant License or Eligibility Letter
- Minimum 5 7 years of post board consultant experience in Psychiatry within a reputed hospital or mental health center
- Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory

Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist who is fluent in Arabic to join a leading healthcare organization in Qatar.
- The successful candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with a wide range of mental health conditions while delivering compassionate, evidence based, and patient centered care.
- The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support the mental wellbeing of patients across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage psychiatric disorders including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and other mental health conditions

Qualifications & Requirements
