Role Summary
The Consultant Plastic Surgeon provides advanced reconstructive and aesthetic surgical care in a premium clinical environment.
The role covers complex reconstructive procedures, aesthetic surgery, multidisciplinary case management, and patient communication in Arabic and English.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive reconstructive and aesthetic surgical services aligned with international standards.
- Perform trauma reconstruction, microsurgery, burns reconstruction, and post-oncologic restoration.
- Provide face, breast, and body-contouring aesthetic procedures and non-surgical interventions.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments, surgical planning, and post-operative follow-up.
- Follow DHA regulations and clinical governance frameworks in safe, evidence-based practice.
- Manage high-acuity and multidisciplinary cases with oncology, orthopaedics, ENT, dermatology, and critical care teams.
- Provide culturally sensitive Arabic-language care supporting patient trust, education, and informed decision-making.
- Maintain high standards of patient communication, counselling, and satisfaction.
- Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and service excellence.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Medical degree, such as an MD or MBBS, from a recognized institution.
- Board certification or fellowship in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
- Valid DHA Consultant License or eligibility for Consultant registration.
- Minimum 5–7 years of post-specialization experience in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.
- Proven expertise in surgical and non-surgical aesthetic procedures.
- Fluency in Arabic is mandatory; English is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural, high-performance environment.
