Role Summary
The Consultant Plastic Surgeon provides advanced reconstructive and aesthetic surgical care in a premium clinical environment.
The role requires expertise in complex reconstruction, aesthetic surgery, multidisciplinary case management, and communication in Arabic and English.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver reconstructive and aesthetic surgical services aligned with international standards.
- Perform trauma reconstruction, microsurgery, burns reconstruction, and post-oncologic restoration.
- Provide facial, breast, body contouring, and non-surgical aesthetic procedures.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments, surgical planning, and post-operative follow-up.
- Follow evidence-based practice, DHA regulations, and clinical governance frameworks.
- Manage high-acuity multidisciplinary cases with oncology, orthopaedics, ENT, dermatology, and critical care teams.
- Provide culturally sensitive care, patient counselling, education, and informed decision-making support.
- Maintain patient communication, satisfaction, confidentiality, professionalism, and service excellence.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Medical Degree, MD or MBBS, from a recognized institution.
- Board Certification or Fellowship in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
- Valid DHA Consultant License or eligibility for Consultant registration.
- At least 5–7 years of post-specialization experience in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.
- Expertise in surgical and non-surgical aesthetic procedures.
- Fluency in Arabic is mandatory; English is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural, high-performance environment.
