About the Role

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and chronic disabling conditions
- Conduct detailed clinical evaluations and formulate individualized rehabilitation plans
- Oversee therapeutic interventions and coordinate care with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other specialists
- Perform procedures within the scope of physical medicine and rehabilitation
- Monitor clinical progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Ensure documentation meets regulatory and institutional standards
- Participate in case discussions and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Support patient and family education
- Engage in ongoing professional development
Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and completion of accredited residency or specialist training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Valid specialist licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Consultant in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the United Arab Emirates
- Demonstrated expertise in managing neurological, musculoskeletal, and chronic pain conditions
- Experience working within multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams
- Strong clinical decision making skills and ability to interpret diagnostic tests
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, quality improvement, and adherence to local regulatory standards
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an asset

Role Description
