- Provide specialized medical care to pediatric patients with respiratory disorders, including asthma, cystic fibrosis, and bronchitis
- Conduct thorough medical assessments and diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medication
- Monitor and manage patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care
- Stay updated on advancements in the field of pediatric pulmonology and incorporate new techniques and treatments into practice
- Participate in medical education and training for healthcare professionals and students
- Contribute to the development and implementation of pulmonary healthcare programs and services
- Maintain accurate and up to date medical records of patients
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of specialized training in pediatric pulmonology (diploma, board certification, or fellowship)
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a pediatric pulmonologist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are an advantage)
- Western education/training required
