Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant in Pediatric Ophthalmology to join a leading tertiary healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi.
The successful candidate will provide specialized ophthalmic care to infants, children, and adolescents, managing both medical and surgical eye conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage pediatric ophthalmic conditions including strabismus, amblyopia, congenital cataracts, glaucoma, and retinopathy of prematurity.
- Perform pediatric ophthalmic surgeries within granted clinical privileges.
- Conduct outpatient clinics and provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, neonatologists, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to training programs.
- Participate in clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
