- Provide expert care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, managing critically ill neonates, infants, and children
- Lead the management of complex and high acuity cases including respiratory failure, sepsis, trauma, and post operative care
- Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, ventilator management, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including pediatric subspecialists, anesthetists, and nursing staff
- Participate in on call rota and emergency response within the hospital
- Contribute to clinical governance, audits, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives
- Support training and supervision of junior medical staff
Requirements
- Recognized Consultant qualification in Pediatric Intensive Care
- Experience in managing critically ill neonates, infants, and children
- Proficiency in advanced procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, and ventilator management
- Eligibility for DHA Consultant license
