Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia to join a leading government healthcare provider.
This role focuses on delivering specialized anesthesia care for pediatric cardiac surgeries, including complex and high-risk congenital heart cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert anesthesia care for pediatric cardiac surgical procedures
- Manage high-acuity congenital heart disease cases in operative and perioperative settings
- Deliver anesthesia support in cardiac catheterization labs and hybrid procedures
- Perform advanced monitoring and anesthesia techniques for neonatal and pediatric patients
- Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in on-call rota and emergency cardiac cases
- Contribute to clinical governance, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives
