Job Summary The Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetist will deliver high-quality anaesthesia care for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures.
The role involves managing complex pediatric and neonatal cases in a tertiary-care setting while ensuring optimal patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer general and regional anaesthesia for pediatric surgical procedures.
- Manage neonatal and pediatric airway cases, including high-risk patients.
- Provide perioperative pain management and sedation services.
- Participate in pediatric emergency response and resuscitation teams.
- Collaborate with pediatric surgery, cardiology, and ICU departments.
- Supervise anaesthesia trainees and junior staff.
- Ensure adherence to international anaesthesia safety standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required.
