is seeking an experienced
Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
with specialist expertise in
hip and total knee replacement
.
The role focuses on delivering high-quality elective orthopaedic surgical care, supported by modern facilities and multidisciplinary teams, in line with international standards.
This position is ideal for surgeons with a strong arthroplasty background looking to practice in a stable, well-resourced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consultant-level orthopaedic care with a focus on
- hip and total knee arthroplasty
- Perform elective primary (and where applicable, revision) joint replacement surgeries
- Assess, diagnose, and manage orthopaedic conditions across outpatient and inpatient settings
- Lead pre-operative planning and post-operative patient management
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and care planning
- Support and supervise junior medical staff and allied healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and surgical records
- Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement activities
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
