About the Role
A leading tertiary care center in Abu Dhabi seeks a Consultant Neuro-Ophthalmologist to diagnose and manage complex visual disorders from neurological conditions. Dual training in Pediatric Ophthalmology is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage optic nerve and neuro visual pathway disorders
- Treat conditions including optic neuritis, papilledema, diplopia, visual field defects, and neuro ophthalmic emergencies
- Interpret and correlate neuro imaging (MRI/CT) relevant to ophthalmic conditions
- Work collaboratively with neurology, neurosurgery, endocrinology, and radiology
- Provide care for both adult and pediatric neuro ophthalmic patients (if dual trained)
- Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and teaching activities
Requirements
- Tier 1 qualification: American Board Certification, UK CCT, Canadian Fellowship, or Australian/New Zealand Fellowship
- Fellowship in Neuro Ophthalmology (dual Pediatric Ophthalmology training preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of Consultant level experience
- DOH license or eligibility (or equivalent UAE/Saudi/Qatar licensing pathways)

Position Overview
