Responsibilities
- Manage acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, electrolyte disorders, glomerular disease and hypertension.
- Oversee haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and renal replacement therapy planning.
- Provide inpatient nephrology consultations and outpatient continuity of care for complex renal patients.
- Coordinate care with urology, vascular surgery, cardiology, endocrinology, ICU and transplant teams.
- Guide medication optimisation, renal nutrition, patient education and complication prevention.
- Support dialysis quality indicators, infection control, audit and renal service governance.
Requirements
- Recognized specialist qualification in Nephrology (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, European Board, Canadian Royal College, Australian FRACP, Arab Board, DM/DNB/FCPS)
- Eligibility for UAE licensing (DHA/DOH/MOH) and facility credentialing
- Strong clinical judgement and commitment to evidence based practice
- Excellent communication skills with culturally diverse patients and teams
- Ability to adapt to UAE healthcare regulations and documentation standards

Key Responsibilities

- American Board of Internal Medicine Nephrology
- UK CCT / MRCP with nephrology training
- European Board / national specialist registration

- DM / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
