Overview

  • SearchPlus HR is currently seeking a skilled Consultant Neonatologist to join a leading University Healthcare institution.
  • This role involves delivering specialized neonatal care while contributing to the academic environment through teaching and research.
  • As a Consultant Neonatologist, you will provide comprehensive care to newborns requiring intensive medical attention and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Your involvement will extend to mentoring medical students and residents, supporting clinical research, and advancing neonatal care practices.
  • Key Responsibilities:* Deliver expert neonatal care to critically ill and premature infants within the university healthcare setting.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine.
  • Perform neonatal procedures and ensure continuous patient monitoring and management.
  • Supervise, mentor, and educate medical students, residents, and healthcare trainees in the NICU.
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and prognosis.
  • Participate actively in clinical research projects and contribute to publications in neonatology.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.

Requirements

  • Board certification in Pediatrics and Neonatology with substantial NICU experience.
  • Strong clinical skills in managing complex neonatal cases and procedural expertise.
  • Excellent teaching and mentoring capabilities with experience in an academic environment.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with families, trainees, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to research and continuous professional development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced university healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in medical documentation, hospital protocols, and compliance standards.
