- Assume overall responsibility of the medical and surgical management of patients
- Manage the care of new and follow up patients from consultation through to completion of treatment
- Maintain accurate and clear medical records
- Ensure consistent medical treatment of patients by working in accordance with agreed protocols
- Provide advice to clinical, scientific and administration staff
- Facilitate own training under supervision
- Take responsibility for CME and documentation of activity
- Comply with current laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
Requirements
- Saudi Board Certified or equivalent
- Experience not less than three years after obtaining the required qualification
- Current Registration in the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a consultant
- BLS and ACLS certification

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assumes overall responsibility of the medical and surgical management of his/ her patients.
- To manage the care of new and follow up patients at Riyadh Hospital from consultation through to completion of treatment.
- To maintain accurate and clear medical records.
- To ensure consistent medical treatment of patients by working in accordance with agreed protocols.
- To provide advice to clinical, scientific and administration staff.
- To facilitate own training under the supervision of head of department and chief medical officer.
- To take responsibility for CME and documentation of activity in support of revalidation.
- To comply with current laws, regulations, and accreditation standards such as MOH, SCFHS, SFDA, CBAHI, JCI, etc.
Qualification & Experience Requirements
- Saudi Board Certified or equivalent is required.
- Experience not less than three years after obtaining the required qualification.
- Current Registration in the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, as a consultant, is highly preferred.
- BLS, ACLS certification is highly required.
