- This role is ideal for a dedicated specialist passionate about providing high-quality care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
- The Consultant will be responsible for delivering expert clinical care, performing diagnostic procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Key Responsibilities:* Evaluate and manage patients presenting with a range of gastrointestinal conditions.
- Perform endoscopic and other gastrointestinal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans and follow-up strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide expert consultations and guidance to medical staff and trainees.
- Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with advances in gastroenterology.
- Participate in quality assurance, audits, and research activities.
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in Gastroenterology.
- Board certification or equivalent qualification in Gastroenterology.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical gastroenterology and proficiency in endoscopic procedures.
- Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to ongoing education and best practice standards.
- Familiarity with healthcare information systems is an advantage.
