• As a Consultant - Gastroenterology, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patients with gastrointestinal diseases.
• You will provide expert consultations, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Key Responsibilities:* Assess and diagnose patients presenting with gastrointestinal symptoms and disorders.
• Carry out endoscopic procedures and other diagnostic tests essential for patient evaluation.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and follow-up.
• Provide expert advice and consultation to other medical staff regarding gastrointestinal conditions.
• Stay current with medical advances and best practices related to gastroenterology.
• Participate in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Medical degree with recognized specialization in Gastroenterology.
• Board certification or equivalent credentials in Gastroenterology.
• Proven clinical experience in gastroenterology practice, including endoscopic procedures.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and healthcare teams.
• Ability to function effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and healthcare software is preferable.
