Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders including GERD, IBS, IBD, liver diseases, pancreatitis, and gastrointestinal bleeding.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
- Manage both inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology cases.
- Develop individualized treatment and long term follow up plans for patients.
- Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, dietitians, oncologists, and multidisciplinary medical teams.
- Provide culturally sensitive communication and consultation to Arabic speaking patients and families.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with DOH regulations and hospital policies.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs, CME activities, and departmental meetings.
- Educate patients regarding digestive health, preventive care, diet, and lifestyle modifications.
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi
- Board Certification / Fellowship in Gastroenterology
- Valid DOH Consultant License or Eligibility Letter in Gastroenterology
- Minimum 5–7 years of post board consultant experience in a reputed hospital or healthcare institution
- Expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures
- Fluency in Arabic (mandatory) and English (preferred)

Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist who is fluent in Arabic to join a reputable healthcare facility in Al Ain.
- The successful candidate will diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and digestive disorders while delivering high quality, patient centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders including GERD, IBS, IBD, liver diseases, pancreatitis, and gastrointestinal bleeding.

Qualifications & Requirements
