Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role located in Jeddah for a Consultant in Family Medicine, specializing in Diabetes Management.
The Consultant will deliver high-quality patient care with a focus on diabetes prevention, diagnosis, and management.
Responsibilities include performing comprehensive medical evaluations, developing personalized diabetes treatment plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and educating patients on lifestyle modifications and disease management.
The Consultant will also provide guidance to medical staff and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical practices in the field of diabetes care.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Family Medicine with specialized knowledge in Diabetes Management
- Strong clinical experience in diagnosing and managing diabetes-related conditions and complications
- Proficiency in patient education, lifestyle counseling, and personalized care planning
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring healthcare professionals
- Commitment to evidence-based medical practices and staying updated with the latest advancements in diabetes care
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Subspecialty certification or fellowship in Diabetes Management is advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability to a multicultural environment with sensitivity to diverse patient needs
