Location and Work Setting

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage ENT and head and neck conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Perform advanced surgery involving the ear, nose, throat, salivary glands, thyroid, and head and neck regions.
• Evaluate and treat head and neck tumors, airway disorders, voice disorders, swallowing disorders, and complex ENT conditions.
• Conduct endoscopic examinations and use advanced diagnostic techniques.
• Manage pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care.
• Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, speech therapists, and other specialists.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and clinical case discussions.
• Provide emergency ENT coverage and consultation services as required.
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians, residents, and allied healthcare professionals.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, research, and continuing medical education programs.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Medical degree, such as MBBS or equivalent, from an accredited institution.
• Board Certification, CCT, or Fellowship in Otolaryngology (ENT).
• Fellowship or advanced training in Head & Neck Surgery is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience practicing as a Consultant ENT Specialist.
• Demonstrated expertise in head and neck surgical procedures and comprehensive ENT care.
• Strong clinical, surgical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven leadership and multidisciplinary teamwork experience.
• Eligibility for licensure with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

Preferred Qualifications

• Western Board Certification, including UK CCT, FRCS, American Board, Canadian Fellowship, Australian Fellowship, or equivalent.
• Experience in tertiary-care or academic medical centers.
• Research, teaching, or publication experience in ENT and Head & Neck Surgery.
